RRR YouTube Tools ("the app") is a private application operated by the owners of the Reed's Reel Reviews YouTube channel. It is used only by us, to manage our own channel.
What the app accesses
When we sign in with Google, the app requests access to the YouTube Data API, YouTube Analytics API and YouTube Reporting API for the Reed's Reel Reviews channel. It uses that access to:
- upload videos and edit our own videos' titles, descriptions, tags, thumbnails, playlists and settings;
- read comments on our channel, reply to them and moderate them;
- read analytics and reports about our own channel and videos.
Comments on our channel are public YouTube content written by viewers. The app reads them only so that we can reply to or moderate them on our own channel.
How data is stored and shared
- The sign-in token is stored only on our own computer. Data the app reads from YouTube is used on our computer and is not stored on any server we run.
- We do not sell, rent or share any data obtained through Google APIs, and we do not use it for advertising.
- The app's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
YouTube and Google
The app uses YouTube API Services. By using it, you agree to the YouTube Terms of Service. See also the Google Privacy Policy.
Revoking access
Access can be removed at any time from your Google Account's third-party connections page. Removing access stops the app from reaching the channel. We can also delete the stored token from our computer on request.
